Moving to New York
New York State covers 54,556 square miles of the United States and is the third largest state by population. There are many regions in New York State to explore and fall in love with. There are the Adirondacks on the upper eastern deck of the state that includes almost 6 million acres of 3,000 lakes and ponds, 30,000 miles of rivers and streams, and 2,000 miles of hiking trails. There are many different restaurants, publications, art museums such as the Albright Knox and famous architectural structures such as the Frank Lloyd Wright, Darwin Martin House. New York State is as diverse as it is beautiful. Further down, you have the Finger Lakes region made up of 11 lakes that spread out like fingers across the center of New York. There are the Greek Peak and Bristol Mountain Ski Resorts, as well as the Taughannock Falls that give you lots of options for camping, canoeing and kayaking. Each region of NY State brings something new. Then we have New York City, which we all have learned to love. There are restaurants on every corner, the Financial District that invites people in to see what's happening on Wall Street and at the Exchange, shopping meccas throughout the town, and subway lines that will take you wherever you need to go.
