Today it's a state full of world-class cities such as Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Akron. There are great colleges and universities, as well as businesses and retail stores. Industries that continue to grow and do well in Ohio are the aerospace and defense league, bioscience technology and healthcare.

Capital City: The state's capital city is Columbus, Ohio. It got its name from the most famous Columbus you know—explore Christopher Columbus. Right now, the city is doing very well and ever-expanding with 754,885-plus people. The city, like the state, runs on the success of local schools, government, insurance companies and other driven business sectors.

Population: There are approximately 11,552,645 people in the state of Ohio, making it only the 34th biggest in the U.S.

Local Activities: There are many things to do in Ohio, but some of the more popular attractions and things to do remain the following: The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, the U.S. Air Force Museum, the Bicycle Museum of American, the Santa Maria of Christopher Columbus, the regions water parks and amusement parks.

Economy: Ohio's economy is something business and money publications love talking about. Ohio was been ranked as the fourth state to have the best business climate by Site Selection Magazine and was ranked number 10 for the best business-friendly tax systems by The Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council. Ohio itself is recognized internationally as the "Fuel Cell Corridor" because of the research hubs of national solar energy company, Toledo, and aerospace hub, Dayton. Ohio is also the rubber capital of the world. Wal-Mart is Ohio's largest employer. There are jobs readily available in Ohio which appeals to people moving to Ohio. The natural gas/oil industry, insurance, finance services, renewable energy companies and Ohio moving companies are just some of the businesses that strive to bring an income to the state and succeed.
