Lady Gaga's relocation plans subject of debate

October 1, 2010 - Pop superstar Lady Gaga is rumored to be moving to Martha's Vineyard. And the Hamptons. And the United Kingdom.

The singer's eventual landing spot has been the subject of much speculation recently, as a variety of reports have said that she is purchasing real estate in a number of locations. The rumors began earlier this week when Women's Wear Daily reported that Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, was in the process of purchasing a home on Martha's Vineyard - also a favorite vacation spot of President Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton.

However, WWD added that earlier this summer, Gaga was rumored to set her sights on a home on Long Island. More recently, Scotland's Daily Record reported that the global star has been shopping for a castle in the United Kingdom, reportedly to fulfill a childhood wish.

"No expense will be spared in her quest to make this come true. It's her childhood dream and she's particularly interested in castles in the north of England or Scotland," a source told the Record.

It should come as no surprise that Lady Gaga is having a hard time moving to just one home. The active star is almost perpetually on the move - her "Monster Ball" tour has been on the road for months, and she has extended the tour through next April, reports MTV.
