NBA star Jermaine O’Neal moving out of Nevada mansion

November 2, 2011 - Basketball veteran Jermaine O’Neal has re-listed his home in Henderson, Nevada, for $3.5 million, the same price he purchased it for back in 2007. The two-story mansion has 7,478 square feet of living space and is located in the notoriously huge Anthem/MacDonald ranch.

O’Neal started his career 14 years ago with the Portland Trailblazers and has since bounced around the country playing for different teams. He is currently listed as a center forward for the Boston Celtics, despite the delay in the season’s start and an injury last year.

The home features six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, four fireplaces and sits on nearly an acre of land. Upgrades include marble baths, a gourmet kitchen, home theatre and wine room. Outside the home has a heated swimming pool complete with a waterfall and water slide, and the outdoor kitchen makes the home a great place for entertaining.

To keep with the athletic appeal, the home also has a game room and an indoor basketball court, perfect for practice during the NBA lockout.

Many celebrities are buying and selling homes now, but all of the extras this mansion offers could have other athletes calling for a moving company.
