Actor Morris Chestnut moving out of Hidden Hills home

May 4, 2012 - Boyz N the Hood star Actor Morris Chestnut has reportedly sold his home in Hidden Hills. While public records show he purchased the home back in 2007 for $3.3 million, the Los Angeles Times reports he has sold his equestrian property as a short sale for a notably lower $2.3 million.

While Chestnut may be best known for his breakthrough film role, he has also starred in a number of popular television shows including American Horror Story and V.

The Times says the Mediterranean-style house was built in 1974 but underwent a number of
renovations. The estate sits on 2.4 acres of land and offers 5,522 square feet of living space including six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms. Other features of the home that likely had the buyer calling for moving services include the swimming pool and barbecue area.

While it has not be reported where Chestnut is relocating to, he will likely miss the home's extensive land and pasture.
