Homebuyers are moving in on Britney Spears' former family home

June 2, 2011 - The former Malibu home of pop singer and mother of two Britney Spears is on the real estate market in California, according to the Zillow Blog.

The former teen sensation has had her fair share of trouble in recent years, with a very public meltdown and a messy divorce from ex-husband Kevin Federline. However, the diva appears to be on the road to pop perdition and recently appeared on the cover of Harper's Bazaar. ABC reports that Spears told the magazine that she is living a normal, run-of-the-mill kind of life, while reports swirl that she remains troubled.

The eight bedroom, eight-bathroom home was built in 1983, two years after the singer was born. Spears lived in the home in with her ex-husband and two sons before trying to unload it in 2007. After several months and a significant price chop, the singer was finally able to part with the property for $10 million in cash, according to the Zillow Blog.

The estate, which recently underwent extensive home repair and maintenance, is now available to homebuyers for $15.95 million, according to the source.
