New service could make negotiating easier for homebuyers

April 29, 2010 - In an effort to help homebuyers and sellers communicate with another more efficiently, N-Play has announced the launch of a new website that will enable individuals to initiate the negotiation process online.

Using the website, prospective buyers are able to place non-binding offers on any property listings that interest them. Real estate companies that are participating in the service provide a link to the N-Play website, where purchasers can see other offers in real time and bid against one another.

Home sellers are also able to view these figures, and may choose a desirable offer at any time. They can post feedback on closing costs, binder fees, financing information and other closing costs.

Although the service has only been introduced in the Atlanta-area real estate market, company officials say they plan to bring the service to at least 10 other areas over the next year.

Mark Bloomfield, N-Play's founder and CEO, said that services is intended to break down "the barriers that stand between buyers and sellers" while keeping a realtor "involved [in] every step of the process."
