Candy Spelling single-handedly keeping California moving companies in business

June 27, 2011 - Candy Spelling, widow of late uber-producer Aaron Spelling, has been making moving news lately with her real estate comings and goings. Candy recently sold her 123-room Bel-Air mansion, dubbed "The Manor", for $150 million, an asking price the Hollywood staple refused to budge on, according to Curbed.

Candy's former home boasted 14 bedrooms and 27 bathrooms and amenities like an art studio, a library and an over-the-top entryway with a double staircase and walls fitted with French silk, according to Redfin. After living at such a luxurious home, it is no surprise that Mrs. Spelling is unwilling to unload the moving boxes just anywhere.

A penthouse in The Century in Century City is currently being renovated for her, but is not yet ready. While the penthouse is slightly smaller than The Manor, it does boast spectacular views, multiple fireplaces and a dining room that can seat up to 25 guests, according to AOL Real Estate.

However, Candy will be living month-to-month until her new digs are given the finishing touches. The source reports that she will be signing a renters agreement and moving into another penthouse at the Carlyle on Wilshire.
