Moving to California
Moving to California makes sense. Not only for its beautiful beaches, sun-filled afternoons and towering palm trees, but also for its low cost of living, good employment opportunities and excellent choice of apartments and houses. In addition to California's prosperous agricultural industry, other important contributors to the economy include aerospace, petroleum, and information technology. With a GDP similar to that of Italy, if California were a country, it would rank the 20th largest economies in the world.

State Bird: The California quail (Lophortyx californica), also known as the valley quail, became the official state bird in 1931.

State Tree: The official tree in California is the redwood.
