Writer Sue Hostetler moving boxes out of New York City home

April 26, 2012 - Celebrity real estate blog The Real Estalker reports that writer Sue Hostetler and husband Jon Diamond have listed their home in New York's East Village for sale.

Records show the couple purchased the home back in 2008 for $3.5 million when it was zoned as a commercial property, but after many renovations and re-zoning, the residency has an asking price of $8.5 million.

Hostetler is a well known art and design writer and is the editor of Art Basel Miami Beach but also worked on television, hosting a show about none other than celebrity real estate and mansions of the wealthy. Diamond is a CEO and entrepreneur.

According to the blog, the couple lived in the lower four floors of the building and converted the upstairs into a duplex penthouse, which they later sold separately. The 2,700-square-foot penthouse was originally listed for $3.75 million but sold for just over $3 million.

The home Hostetler and Diamond shared offers around 6,500 square feet of living space with either three or four bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms.

It has not been reported where the two will be relocating to, but upgraded features including 18-foot ceiling, large windows and the outdoor fireplace should have buyers calling for movers in no time.
