Vince Vaughn relists Chicago penthouse with a price cut

September 12, 2012 - Celebrity real estate blog The Real Estalker reports that Hollywood actor Vince Vaughn may finally be moving boxes out of his penthouse in the Windy City after relisting it for a significantly lower asking price.

Public records show he purchased the home back in 2006 for $12 million, while he originally listed it with a much higher price of $24.7 million. It later was on the market for $18.4 million and now buyers can purchase it for $16.75 million.

According to the blog, the high-rise unit offers more than 12,000 square feet of living space including five bedrooms, four full bathrooms and four half baths spread out on it's three stories. The home may be scooped up by another celebrity, as it has numerous star-approved features including oversized terraces for outdoor entertaining, a screening room, a bar and cocktail lounge and a billiards room.

The home also offers a historic aspect, as it was the location of Hugh Hefner's original office. Another notable feature of the home that should have buyers calling for moving services include views of both the city skyline and water.
