Terrell Owens will sell former Dallas homes

March 15, 2011 - Though he left the Dallas Cowboys two years ago - moving on to new teams in Buffalo and then Cincinnati - NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens has only recently decided to part ways with his Dallas-area condos.

Reports say the mercurial veteran - who has played for five teams in his 15 NFL seasons and is known for his lavish touchdown celebrations - has put on the market two separate condominiums he owns in Dallas' high-end Azure building. The complex was the city's first residential building to be certified under the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program, meaning the person relocating to either one of the units could enjoy lower energy costs and other sustainable amenities.

At the same time, costs are not likely to be a concern for the buyer who purchases either unit. The larger, three-bedroom condo is listed for $2.25 million, while the second, one-bedroom apartment is $350,000.

Owens was released from his contract with the Cowboys in 2009, ending a three-year relationship sprinkled with controversy, including a reported "accidental drug overdose" that sparked media attention and vehement denials from the player and his representative. He then played for the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals, tenures which were more notable for his presence on his own reality TV shows rather than his on-field play.
