Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick moving to Brooklyn

March 26, 2012 - The New York Daily News reports that actress Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick may be packing up and moving to Brooklyn. The couple is reportedly closing in on a contract to purchase two townhouses on State Street but likely plans on combining them to make one large estate.

Parker is best known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw, a New York socialite who wouldn't agree with her move to the up-and-coming neighborhoods outside of the city.

The source says the price for Parker and Broderick's new pad hasn't been released but are known for their pricey New York homes including a townhouse they bought back in 2010 for $18.995 million.

Together the two homes would have a total of around 7,000 square feet of living space but other details have yet to be released on the two townhomes as they were never listed for sale. The Daily News notes that the Hollywood stars are currently living in the mansion purchased two years ago but are excited to be relocating to Broderick's family-oriented hometown.
