Renee Zellweger finds buyer for NY apartments

April 7, 2011 - Actor Leelee Sobieski will be moving into two apartments sold by colleague Renee Zellweger, according to a report.

Sobieski has signed a contract for both apartments - located on the Upper East Side - for a total of $8.95 million, reported the New York Times. Zellweger had listed the properties - which take up the entire second floor of the building - as separate or as a combination, said the report. One features three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, while the smaller unit has one of each.

The co-ops are located on 82nd Street at Madison Avenue. Zellweger was actually able to sell it at a profit, said the report, as she initially purchased the units for $8.2 million in 2007.

Previous reports said Zellweger has put the homes on the market and was looking to hire a moving company to head to the West Coast. Reportedly, she wanted to move closer to rumored boyfriend Bradley Cooper, who lives in Los Angeles. They've reportedly since ended their two-year relationship - although neither actually confirmed they were dating in the first place.
