Russel Crowe moving into new family home

May 13, 2011 - Actor Russel Crow and his wife, Danielle Spencer, have finally finished their four-year search for a new residence.

The couple reportedly purchased a $10 million home in the suburbs of Sydney, according to The Sydney Morning Herald. The estate, which has the unfortunate moniker Te Puke, was built in 1909 and is adjacent to a golf course.

Crowe, who earned a star on the Holywood walk of fame last year, most recently starred as Robin Longstride alongside Cate Blanchette in Robin Hood. People Magazine snapped a photo of the star and his family, including sons Charles and Tennyson, at the ceremony.

The Oscar-winning actor perused several pieces of real estate before deciding on the six-bedroom house, including a $50 million waterfront mansion, according to the Real Estalker.

Though the Crowe family will be settling into their new neighborhood, Russel won't be asking the moving company to pack up his Sydney penthouse. The Real Estalker also reports that Crowe will be hanging onto his former bachelor pad at Woolloomooloo's Finger Wharf. Maybe the actor will make the apartment available to renters.
