Paramount CEO Brad Grey moving to New York's Carlyle Hotel

December 14, 2011 - Paramount CEO Brad Grey recently purchased an apartment in the Carlyle Hotel in New York. Sources say he is moving into the new home with his wife Cassandra Grey after paying $15.5 million, while the original asking price was $17.5 million.

The Carlyle Hotel is famous for being home to former President JFK and has earned the nickname as the New York White House. The 35-story building currently includes hotel rooms as well as residences such as the four-bedroom apartment purchased by Grey. He purchased it from Peter M. Schoendeld who flipped the home, making a large profit considering he paid a little less than $6.5 million back in 2007.

Some special features of the high-rise on the 26th floor include a library and access to the hotel's many amenities, including maid and room service.

Grey recently listed his home in Holmby Hills, once owned by Frank Sinatra, for $23.5 million, meaning his new purchase will have him relocating to the East coast.
