Jodie Foster hiring moving company, selling Beverly Hills home

April 19, 2011 - Actor Jodie Foster is contemplating moving plans and has put her Beverly Hills home on the market, according to several reports.

Foster has listed her seven-bedroom, eight bathroom property for sale at $9.975 million, said reports. Built in 1949, records show Foster initially moved into the home back in 2005 at a price of $8.1 million. The Cape Cod-style home sits on an acre of gated property and includes a circular driveway, a swimming pool, spa and recreational amenities such as a tennis court.

The person hiring a moving company and buying the home would enjoy plenty of manicured landscaping, including lush greenery and winding vines and flowers. A poolside patio also provides the perfect location for an afternoon barbecue or gathering.

It's not clear just where Foster will be relocating from here, though reports show she still owns a Sunset Strip home that she bought in 1995.

Foster's had a number of award-winning performances in films such as "Silence of the Lambs" and "The Accused." She was also nominated for an Academy Award at the age of 14 for her role in the Martin Scorcese classic, "Taxi Driver."
