Italian students receive fair warning about incoming roommates

May 9, 2011 - The administration at Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici in Rome advised its students to keep their doors locked as the Jersey Shore crew - who will begin shooting their fourth season of the show in Italy this month - start moving in, according to TMZ.

The University reportedly told students not to let anyone into their apartments or sign anything. Time spoke to a representative of the college who indicated that getting undergrads through finals was a top priority and that they had no particular issue with the reality television stars.

"The semester ends soon," the spokeswoman told Time. "We must provide a suitable environment for studying."

In the end, school officials thought it best to hire a moving company and send two female students packing. No doubt studying would have been difficult with all that "smooshing" and fist-pumping going on.

The stars themselves are excited for their international move. Cast member Deena Cortese informed MTV in April that she was ready to go.

"I honestly can't wait to get there and see the place," she told MTV.

Let's hope their new landlord has homeowners insurance.
