Hollywood actress Meg Ryan finally sells Bel Air home

June 22, 2012 - News sources report that actress Meg Ryan may be calling for movers in the near future, as her home in Bel Air has been bought.

She first listed the mansion for sale back in 2008 for $19.5 million but buyers will be moving boxes in after paying a considerably lower amount of $11.125 million. While it has not been reported how much she paid for the home back in 2000, she has been leasing it out for $40,000 per month for a year.

Celebrity sites speculate she may be selling the Spanish-style estate to move in with boyfriend John Mellencamp, but nothing has been confirmed. Ryan is best known for her roles in romantic comedies When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail.

The home was built in the 1930s and is located in the affluent Los Angeles neighborhood of Holmby Hills. It offers 6,877 square feet of living space including six bedrooms and seven bathrooms as well as a separate guest house. Some notable features of the home include its views of the ocean and the city, multiple fireplaces, a private screening room and a pub-like room complete with a bar.
