Hire a moving company and buy Kate Middleton's childhood home

April 6, 2011 - An auction in June will give one bidder the chance of moving into the childhood home of princess-to-be Kate Middleton.

Middleton will be married to Prince William of Wales later this month, but a month later, the estate in which she grew up - known as West View - will be auctioned off to the highest bidder, according to a report by the Daily Mail. Found in the village Bradfield Southend - about 60 miles west of London - the home is currently on the market for about $742,000 in U.S. dollars.

Middleton lived in the modest estate until she was 13, and the family sold the property in 1995. It hasn't changed much at all in the time since, said the listing agent, who told the Daily Mail it might double as a museum for a particularly enterprising homebuyer.

"It's always possible that someone will buy it as an investment, because if Kate becomes queen someone might even want to open it as a museum one day and charge people to see it," the agent told the paper.

Tenants are currently leasing the property, but they'll be relocating in time for the owner to take advantage of the world's obsession with the royal wedding, said the report. The couple will be married in front a worldwide audience on April 29.
