Former talk show host Craig Kilborn parts ways with LA home

July 6, 2012 - Former late night talk show host Craig Kilborn is downsizing slightly, as he recently sold his Los Angeles home.

The former Daily Show and Late Late Show host first moved into the property in 2001, according to celebrity real estate blog The Real Estalker. He initially paid just under $2.5 million for it 11 years ago, but ended up selling it for $2.9 million after two price reductions this past year.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom property sits on about a third of an acre of land and is highlighted by a number of vintage tiles, according to the site. The property also includes dark hardwood flooring, a wet bar, den, formal dining room and multiple fireplaces. It also features and in-ground pool to help residents cool off.

When the home was first listed for sale, Curbed reported that the home was owned by the late actor Dennis Hopper in the 1960s. Kilborn, on the other hand, will likely have his moving services make sure everything is in his other California home, a two-bedroom single-story home in Fairfax.
