Countess considering moving to West Coast

April 12, 2011 - One of the stars of "The Real Housewives of New York City" says she has long distance moving plans, telling E! News she would consider relocating from New York to Beverly Hills.

LuAnn de Lesseps, who gave herself the nickname "Countess" after a previous marriage to a French heir, told the source she's dying for an opportunity to appear on "Dancing with the Stars," even saying she'd be willing to switch coasts for it. She added she has thought about packing her moving boxes and making the move to Beverly Hills.

"What do you think of me moving to Beverly Hills?" she asked a reporter. "Imagine the Countess in Beverly Hills!"

Lesseps already has her dancing partner picked out on the celebrity dancing competition, saying she'd like to be paired with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, the man currently dancing with Kirstie Alley on this season's edition. She added she'd like to dance the salsa because, of course, she's "spicy." Naturally.

In the meantime, Lesseps' own show premiered its new season last week, with her and the cast taking a trip to Morocco, among other adventures.
