Chris Tucker sells two homes in Florida

December 12, 2011 - Actor and comedian Chris Tucker has reportedly sold two of his homes in Florida due to financial issues. Reports from October said the star was close to losing one of his mansions, which originally cost him $6 million in 2007.

The home in Lake County, Florida, was negotiated as a short sale just before the bank marked it as a foreclosure in November. The home reportedly has 10,000 square feet of living space including five bedrooms, three fireplaces and is located on the waterfront. Other features of the home include a private spa and an outdoor kitchen that overlooks the home's pool.

Court documents state that he owed more than $4.4 million to the bank and accepted a $2 million bid for the home. He sold his other home in Florida for $1.05 million, nearly $50,000 less than the asking price, but sources say that he still owes $11.5 million in back taxes.

It has not been reported where he will be moving to as a permanent residence, but hopefully the rumor of another Friday film will help him take care of his debt.
