Actress Anne Hathaway moving into New York apartment

March 15, 2012 - After the actress was seen checking out houses all around the city, media outlets report that Hollywood star Anne Hathaway and her fiance Adam Shulman may need movers as they recently decided on an apartment in Dumbo. While the official rent they will be paying has not been listed, sources say it is likely a one-bedroom unit that was recently taken off the market for $6,400 a month.

Hathaway was previously nominated for an Oscar back in 2009 and is best known for her roles in films such as The Devil Wears Prada, Valentine's Day, Bride Wars and Love and Other Drugs. She is currently filming for Les Miserables. which is set to be released before the end of 2012.

The relocation for the actress is a big change from the $37,000-a-month apartment she formerly shared with ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri as she and Shulman were searching for a place with a much more modest rent. If sources are correct, the couple will be moving boxes into the smaller home soon and taking advantage of the Clocktower building's amenities including a fitness center, concierge services and a roof deck with views of Lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge.
