Actor Harrison Ford moving out of Los Angeles home

April 6, 2012 - Celebrity real estate blog The Real Estalker reports that Hollywood actor Harrison Ford has recently listed his longtime home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles for sale. He purchased the home back in 1983 for around $1 million and has listed it with a much higher asking price of $8,295,000.

The home was reportedly built back in 1951 and offers 7,164 square feet of living space including seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms when combining the main house, guest house and separate suites for staff and guests. Other notable features of the home include a library, wood flooring, crown moldings and multiple fireplaces. Outside amenities of the home such as balconies with city views should have buyers calling for moving services soon.

Ford has been sharing the home with wife Calista Flockhart and it has yet to be reported where the two are relocating to but they purchased a second home in Los Angeles in late 2011 for $12.365 million. The blog notes that the couple also has homes in Wyoming and New York, both valued in the millions.
