Hollywood stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick selling NYC townhouse

September 14, 2012 - Celebrity news sites report that actor Matthew Broderick and his famous wife Sarah Jessica Parker may be moving out of their home in New York. While the couple purchased the home just last year for $18.995 million, a series of small renovations may be why it has reappeared on the market with a higher asking price of $24.995 million.

Sources say the couple was never seen moving boxes of their personal items into the house, suggesting that it was purchased as an investment to fix up and sell. Its location in Central Park West provides a great view of the city and greenery, while they are said to be on the hunt for another property, likely a townhouse, in the city.

According to the townhouse's official listing, the five-story home offers five bedrooms including a master suite that makes up the entire fourth floor. A celebrity buyer may be attracted to all the upgraded features throughout the home including a top-of-the-line security system, seven fireplaces, granite and stone countertops and hardwood flooring. It also has a loft space that can be utilized as a home office or a playroom, while the library is also a notable feature.
