The Schwarzenegger's Brentwood, California home is for sale

May 26, 2011 - It appears hope for reconciliation is dwindling by the minute for former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and his estranged wife Maria Shriver. However, there is still hope for the couple's former home, which has just hit the real estate market in Brentwood, California, according to the Zillow Blog.

Shriver and Schwarzeneggar bought the home in 1986, the same year they were married, and lived there for 17 years. Many are now speculating that the affair that is currently tearing the Schwarzeneggar clan apart began on the property, according to E! Online.

The gated, seven-bedroom, seven-bathroom estate in Pacific Palisades is situated near Will Rogers State Park, and features a long driveway and lush landscaping that offer tranquility and privacy to potential homebuyers, according to the Zillow Blog. There is a pool and spa on the premises, and plenty of room for entertaining out-of-doors. A tennis court, duck pond and natural stream make the California pad feel decidedly Kennedy-New England.

Maybe the next family to move into the neighborhood will have better luck. The current list price is $23 million, according to the source.
