Moving companies are prepared to unload at the queen of mean's estate

June 23, 2011 - Late billionaire Leona Helmsley was known for extravagant taste and towering temper. Now the queen of mean's former Greenwich, Connecticut estate is back on the real estate market for a reported $42.9 million, according to Curbed.

The 40 acre property, dubbed Dunnellen Hall, has been up for grabs several times over the past few years and has seen listing prices ranging from $125 million to $35 million. The current homeowner, whose identity is not known, scooped the mansion up when it was cheapest and is now looking to flip it for a profit, according to the source.

The 28-room spread has a myriad of lofty features to entice homebuyers, including an 86-foot reception hall and walk-in vault. While the estate is not on the beach, it does boast hilltop views and has a relaxing koi pond and an indoor and outdoor pool to make up for lack of ocean access, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Helmsley, who died in 2007, was a hotel magnate who secured her "queen of mean" status during a tax evasion case when she was quoted as saying "only little people pay taxes."

Leona and her husband, Harry B. Helmsley, paid $11 million for the home in 1983.
