Mark Ronson moving out of his Greenwich Village pad

June 13, 2011 - Producer and DJ extraordinaire Mark Ronson has put his Greenwich Village apartment on the real estate market in New York City, according to Curbed.

The British-born music man recently proposed to his girlfriend, French triple threat – actress, model and singer – Josephine De La Baume. Ronson is apparently handy at crafting beats and jewelry, as he reportedly designed the yellow diamond engagement ring he used to pop the question, according to Music-News.

The two-bedroom, one-bathroom, single-floor apartment is located at 69 Washington place. Ronson reportedly purchased the home for $1.8 million and is now looking to turn a slight profit by offering it to potential homebuyers for just under $2 million, Curbed reports.

The property itself is situated in the Greenwich Village Historic District, which is being protected by The Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation (GVSHP), which works to preserve the architectural history of the area, according to the organization's website.

Rumor has it that an intended renovation may have prompted the music mogul to pack up his Grammys and call the movers. An application to build an addition onto the 1842 Greek revival-style home was recently approved, according to GVSHP.
