Jack Nicholson is ready for the movers in Malibu

September 30, 2011 - Legendary actor Jack Nicholson is ready for the full service moving company to clear out his Malibu, California, estate, which he has finally sold to a new homeowner, according to The Los Angeles Times.

Nicholson, who has won Oscars for his work in films such as "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," first placed the 70-acre property on the real estate market in February with a price tag of $4.25 million. The property reportedly sold for $3.5 million, the source explains.

The estate's single-story main home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2,313 square feet of space. Staff quarters are on-site, so the new homeowners can have their service team on hand, and a guest house and caretaker residence are also on the property, the Real Estalker explains.

The Ranch-style main house was built in 1966 and provides homeowners with sweeping ocean and mountain views. Outside, a swimming pool, grotto-style spa, tennis court, putting green and cabana provide ample entertainment for the buyers to enjoy after moving day. Much of the land is also zoned for equestrian activities, and with miles of riding trails, riding enthusiasts should not get bored too soon, The Los Angeles Times reports.
