Blagojevich moving out in Chicago

July 19, 2011 - Embattled former Illinois Governor Robert Blagojevich may need moving services to pack up his Chicago estate. That is because, despite having put the property up for bond, Blogojevich will be selling the real estate, according to the Zillow Blog.

Blagojevich, who has denied any wrong-doing, was convicted on several charges last month stemming from his attempt to sell President Barack Obama's former senate seat to the highest bidder. While the former political leader has not been sentenced yet, many believe he will be moving into new digs sans the moving company soon, as he could face up to 10 years in jail for his crimes.

The home, which the Blagojevichs purchased in 1999, has three bedrooms. The pair paid $505,000 and undertook extensive home repair and maintenance after moving in, according to The Chicago Tribune.

The property is in the Ravenswood Manor neighborhood and The Zillow Blog estimates that it is worth approximately $834,700 at present. The home also has four bathrooms and 3,817 square feet of living space for the new homewoners to spread out in after Blagojevich has vacated the premise.
