Michael Jackson’s final home in Beverly Hills for sale

November 10, 2011 - The Beverly Hills mansion where Michael Jackson passed away is now on the market. Jackson rented the home with his three children from December 2008 until his death in June 2009.

He rented the home fully-furnished and everything inside, including the bed he passed in, is expected to be auctioned off in the near future.Throughout the home, there are still signs of Jackson everywhere, including personal messages to himself, and notes left by his children.

The home has six bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. The house was fit for the king of pop with at least ten fireplaces, a wine cellar, spa, gym, expansive outdoor gardens and a large swimming pool.

Director of Julien’s Auctions said that Jackson “loved it because it was like Neverland. It was a very happy place where he spent his final days. AOL also reports that Julien’s will be selling the inside furnishings, the same company that sold Jackson’s valuables from his Neverland Ranch in April 2008.”

While the verdict was being read to convict Jackson’s doctor, reporters were on a tour of the 54,885-square-foot home. Homes in the area are all around $18 million, but whoever is packing to move into pop icon’s now historic last home will be paying closer to $23.5 million.
