The Snake

Sunday, February 13, 2011 - If the plunger does not work, try using a drain auger or snake as it is commonly known.

Follow these steps..
  1. Remove the tub stopper or strainer.

  2. Push the top of the snake into the drain opening and feed the coil until it meets the obstacle.

  3. Push the cable into the clog and crank it further to dislodge the obstruction.
