Power Washing
An electronic or gas powered washer is one of the most useful tools homeowners can get their hands on. You can also rent one to clean the entire exterior of your home in probably less than one day. Power washers can clean everything from that slimy green build up on wooden decks to the dirt and grime on concrete surfaces to prepare for protective coatings.  Use care when handling a power washer and do not use too much pressure. For most cleaning jobs, 800 to 1,000 psi is adequate. Never use a power washer around people or pets. Be sure to protect any unsealed openings you don’t want to spray.

Follow the basic guidelines when washing

Wear the appropriate clothing and protective equipment

Use drop cloths to catch paint chips

Practice holding the wand in your hand and spraying so you get the even results you want.
