Zen, fung shui and balance are not only new-age terms that people pratice in their personal lives, but terms that can describe the order of your bedroom or living. Since these are th rooms where we can finally rest, it is important to understand how to put everything in its place to maintain order and a sense of calm.

What is a balanced room?
A room is considered balanced if all the room feels as if everything is in its place.

Asymmetrical balance refers to perceived balance in a room. The two halves in the room do not have to be similar but should be balanced.

Classical symmetry refers to a sense of relationship between both sides of a room if both sides are very similar. This is considered formal and traditional.
