These four examples of cover letters can be used as models. There are common themes in all the cover letters:
- They are all written in a neat, professional manner.
- The first paragraph explains the purpose and generates interest for the reader to read on.
- The second paragraph or body of the letter conveys the message the author wants to convey and the reason the letter was written in the first place. The focus here is what you can offer the company, and not what you want.
- The style is conversational but business-like.
