Actress Diane Keaton buys and lists Los Angeles home for lease

April 5, 2012 - The Los Angeles Times reports that actress Diane Keaton recently listed her historic home in Los Angeles for lease. The Oscar-winning star recently purchased the townhouse for $570,000 and has made it available for buyers to start moving boxes in for $2,800 a month.

Keaton is best known for her roles in major films including Annie Hall, Because I Said So and Father of the Bride. Her acting career began back in the 1970s and her most recent project, Darling Company, will be released before summer. The Times notes restoring homes has become a hobby, as she reportedly enjoys old architecture.

The three-story unit was originally built in the early 1900s and offers 1,285 square feet of living space including two bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. Other notable features of the home that likely attracted Keaton include exposed brick walls, skylights, wood floors, vaulted ceilings and a rooftop terrace.

It has not been reported if the actress ever plans on moving into the place herself or if she will continue to rent it out for others to enjoy.
