Zillow says football star is most desirable neighbor in 2012

December 28, 2011 - Zillow recently released results from its annual Celebrity Neighbord Survey, which ask Americans who they would most like to have as their neighbor and who they would not lend sugar to.

According to the survey, NFL's Tim Tebow won the title as the most desired neighbor for 2012. Zillow reports that 14 percent of men answered the survey with the 24-year-old's name, doubling the 7 percent of females.

Other celebrities that ranked high on the list including Hollywood couples Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt with 10 percent of votes and coincidentally 9 percent of voters would pick Jennifer Aniston and her boyfriend Justin Theroux as their neighbors.

A surprising 42 percent reported not wanting to be neighbors with any celebrities, a surprise to one Zillow official.

"As a voyeuristic culture that breathlessly tracks every celebrity movement, it's extremely surprising to see so many Americans saying they wouldn't like to live next to any celebrity at all," said Amy Bohutinsky, chief marketing officer of Zillow.

Results from the survey also show that television's Jersey Shore cast remains the least desirable neighbors. Charlie Sheen came in a close second with 21 percent reporting they would be moving if he became their neighbor.
