Vanilla ice is back with "a brand new invention" for the real estate market

June 24, 2011 - Potential homebuyers who want to stop, collaborate and listen to the real estate advice being shelled out by former rap artist Vanilla Ice should check out the MC's new venture.

The budding entrepreneur recently starred in a reality television show that focused on home renovations and aired on the DIY network. The Vanilla Ice Project followed the star and his gang of contractors as they rehabbed and resold a Palm Beach Mansion, according to the show's official website.

Perhaps this on-air stint inspired the rapper, also known as Robert Van Winkle, who has accumulated several years of real estate experience since his days of cross country moving in support of his music career ended, according to CNN. Van Winkle’s new site promises to make fans - presumably of his DIY show - into real estate rock stars.

While the site references Van Winkle’s music career and hip hop highlights several times, it focuses on his mission to help others succeed on the home-front. Ice does reference the recent ups and downs in home selling, but ensures that the market is not "too cold" for him, or those who heed his advice.
