Singer Tamar Braxton-Herbert and husband packing up Encino home

February 23, 2012 - The sister of Grammy-winning singer Toni Braxton, Tamar Braxton-Herbert, and her husband, Vincent Herbert, are reportedly moving boxes out of their home in Encino. The Los Angeles Times reports the musical couple has sold their home for $2.65 million, just over the $2.6 million they paid back in 2009.

Braxton-Herbert was a founding member of the family girl band The Braxtons and has remained a well-known R&B singer and songwriter, and more recently has starred on Braxton Family Values. Her longtime hubby is also in the industry as a music executive.

According to the paper, the Spanish/Tuscan-style home was custom-built back in 2007 and rests on more than a third-acre of land. The estate offers around 8,000 square feet of living space, including six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, as well as a built-in barbecue, cabana, pool and two waterfalls, making the California home perfect for entertaining. Other noted features of the home include the bar, projection room and wine cellar.

It has yet to be reported who will be moving into the home, but the musical couple will likely stay in the Los Angeles area for work.
