Selena Gomez buys California home from actor Jonah Hill

August 30, 2012 - Celebrity news sites are buzzing that singing sensation Selena Gomez has purchased a home in Tarzana, just outside of Los Angeles.

Fellow celebrity, actor Jonah Hill, is reportedly the one moving boxes out of the property, after selling it to the former Disney star. Public records show he bought the home just last summer for $2.175 million, while the selling price has yet to be listed.

The home was built in 1956 and still has a number of classic Hollywood details including crown molding and mahogany wood flooring throughout. With 4,500 square feet of living space, the house has five bedrooms and five bathrooms, as well as other notable features including a swimming pool, a spa and a tennis court.

While many celebrity real estate sites previously speculated she would be moving boxes into her boyfriend Justin Bieber's new house in Calabasas, the young star is making it big on her own.
