Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman selling home in Los Angeles

March 15, 2012 - The Los Angeles Times reports that comic book writer Kevin Eastman may be calling for a moving company as he recently listed his home in West Los Angeles for sale. Public records show he first purchased the property for $1.84 million back in 2008 and previously offered to lease the home for $6,500 a month. Now, however, the house is currently listed for sale at $1.69 million.

Eastman is best known for his collaboration with Pater laird in the late 1980s when they created the Ninja Turtles cartoon series. Later the characters were stars of animated films and live action movies including TMNT and Turtles Forever and the Times says another series and movie are said to debut in the next two years.

The Mediterranean-style home was built in 2005 and offers four bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms for potential buyers. Other notable features of the home include high ceilings, a large backyard and a saltwater pool, perfect for entertaining guests on warm days in Southern California.

While it has not been reported where Eastman will be relocating to, he will likely stay in the Los Angeles area while working on upcoming projects.
