Jay-Z and Beyonce rent out home in the Hamptons

July 30, 2012 - While Jay-Z and Beyonce won't likely be moving boxes into their summer rental in the Hamptons, the New York Post reports they may need lots of luggage for their month-long stay. The two will be spending the month of August in a mansion currently listed for sale with a $43.5 million asking price.

The source notes it went for $500,000 for a two-week stay back in 2010, but the pair is reportedly spending $400,000 on the rental.

The home offers plenty of privacy, and sits on 11 acres of land on the affluent Halsey Lane in Bridgehampton with 31,000 square feet of living space including a 2,800-square-foot master suite. Other notable features of the pricey property include a virtual golf system, a full bar, a two-lane bowling alley and a recording studio, just in case one of them finds inspiration for a new hit song.

Outdoor amenities likely prompted Jay-Z and Beyonce to pick this home over others include a tennis court, full fitness center, a basketball court, spa and most definitely the heated pool which stretches 60 feet and has an underwater stereo system.
