Hip Hop star Alex da Kid moving to Hollywood Hills

March 16, 2012 - The Los Angeles Times reports that producer and songwriter Alexander Grant, better known as Alex da Kid, may be calling movers for his new home in Hollywood Hills West. The hip hop star paid $4.135 million for the mansion that belonged to Manny Mashouf, the founder of fashion line BeBe, who bought the home back in 2006 for $4.264 million.

Grant has worked with a number of stars including rappers T.I., Eminem and Lupe Fiasco as well as female artists including Rihanna and Nicki Minaj.

The Mediterranean-style home offers 5,200 square feet of living space including four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. Other celebrity features of the home include cathedral ceilings and archways, a swimming pool, spa and views of the city, mountains and the ocean.

While it has not been reported when he will be moving boxes into his fancy new house, his relocation is perfect for throwing large parties with his industry friends.
