Disney offering single-family homes

June 25, 2010 - A new luxury residential resort community has just been unveiled at Disney World for every family who ever wished moving there was an option.

Consumers can now purchase single-family homes within the Golden Oak luxury resort community, Disney said. There will be a limited amount of properties available for sale this year - 30 in all. These customized homes will sell for anywhere between $1.5 million and $8 million.

This would be the ideal location for someone to purchase a home if they are looking to move to one of their favorite vacation spots. Concierge services and a private clubhouse will also be available within the luxury resort community, Disney said.

"We have a range of options for guests at all price points to enjoy the Walt Disney World Resort," Disney Resort Real Estate Development vice president Matt Kelly said. "Golden Oak will be a place where families can come together and make memories for generations to come - with Disney World right at their doorstep."

If a family purchases a home in Golden Oak, they should contact their home insurance provider. Knowing how policy prices will change is key to building a moving budget.
