Baseball star Johnny Damon living in Orlando area mansion

March 14, 2012 - Real estate sites reports that MLB's Johnny Damon is currently living in an extravagant mansion in the affluent town of Windermere in Florida.

Damon formerly played for a number of MLB teams including the Kansas City Royals, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees and most recently the Tampa Bay Rays. He is currently without a team and remains a free agent. His million-dollar contracts of the past likely funded the purchase of the huge home that has a variety of celebrity-approved features.

According to sources, the estate offers just under 30,000 square feet of living space including a private bowling alley. Other notable features of the home include a tennis court, resort-style swimming pool with a swim-up bar, waterfall, hot tub and an eight car garage.

While it's unclear which of those features is what drove Damon to pick this home for his moving boxes, it is likely he won't be relocating from the lavish mansion unless being picked up by a team on the West Coast.
