Actor Mark Wahlberg relists Beverly Hills home

July 23, 2012 - Celebrity real estate sites are buzzing that actor Mark Wahlberg and wife Rhea Durham may need movers, as they have relisted their Beverly Hills home for sale. The couple reportedly purchased the Post Office district property for $4.95 million back in 2001 and listed it for sale in 2008 for $15.9 million. It has reappeared with a lower asking price of $12.995 million.

Wahlberg, a Boston native, is best known for his acting career which followed his time as a rapper. The Oscar-nominated star has been in films including The Fighter, Boogie Nights, The Italian Job and most recently, Ted. He has also transitioned into producing, working on Boardwalk Empire and Entourage.

The Mediterranean-style mansion sits on 1.73 acres of land and offers 9,000 square feet of living space including seven bedrooms and ten bathrooms. There is also a 2,500-square-foot guest house, which is perfect for when friends and family come to visit. Other features of the property that should have buyers moving boxes in soon include a lagoon-style swimming pool, multiple poolside cabanas, a basketball court, a putting green and a full gym.
