Hardboard siding
Hardboard siding is prone to weather related issues so it is important to maintain a good protective paint barrier. To prepare this siding use a 300 degree steam cleaner or scrub with a very hot detergent. To remove any sheen, lightly sand the glossy finishes. Never set nails as you will break the factory applied coating.
