Teaching is an age-old honorable profession requiring coaching, influencing and motivating skills unlike any other profession. Teachers can specialize on working with small children, juniors of bigger kids.

Teachers are required to have a bachelor's degree and to be licensed in the state in which they teach. The license is not a requirement for private schools. Teachers have to be personable, especially to children, versatile and capable of a variety of skills.

It goes without saying that teachers are required to have a high degree of patience and stamina to keep up with the children.

There will always be a need for teachers even in poor economic times although depending on where you live the demand can be greater or less.
