Preparing your home for sale
Repairs and Cleaning
You will need to prepare your home for potential buyers. The preparation may consist of cleaning or repairs or probably both.

So what do you need to do and why?
When the agent brings people to look at your home, you will need the home to be clean, clutter free and have any necessary repairs taken care of. You do not want the home to look lived in as you want the buyers to be thinking about moving in and placing their furniture in the home so the less clutter and the less personal items lying about the better. The outside of you home should also be clean, well maintained and inviting. You will also need to ensure the lawn and grounds are well maintained.

In summary - Be prepared for people to inspect all areas of your home both inside and outside!
